@graemepetteway He has fuel injection on it. Thats what the FAST system is for. It’s a stand alone computer so you can completely control your tune with a lap top and not have to pay someone to tune it for you. Or keep burning a chip if you have that capability.
where did u get your turbo manifolds if u dont mind me asking cause i have a turbo 289 bored but cant find any manifolds that will work for my garret turbo
I’m running 13 psi on my stock block, I have tried to break it and it’s still ticking. We put one together and ran 20# and a 150 shot, lasted 42 passes.
DougEFesh25: I have 150,000 miles on my bone stock 92 block and I have a 62mm turbo making 445 rear wheel horses and 538lb/ft of torque on 10lbs. No issues with mine yet so don’t be afraid! Some just last longer than others. The general rule of thumb for the stock block is around 500 horses is all it can take. Mine obviously is doing okay with over 500 flywheel horses and tons of miles.
how in the hell is ur block not splitting,, i got forged pistons in my 91 lx with built top end and im scared shitless to take it over 450hp… tell me somthin good please ha
This used to be a nitrous car. It has a set of AFR’s, edelbrock Super victor intake and a Comp nitrous cam. The shortblock itself is completely stock from a 92 LX.
We are currently switching it over to a built 393 ci windsor and a FAST system. Hope to have some new numbers before the end of the season.
