@feARless556 might as well buy a STI or an EVO at that point.

@J90JAM yeah I knew. Why even bother with this, when you can get a sohc 1.8 civic and it gets just 1mpg fewer. IMO Honda will find out this is a fail venture in the US, because the alternatives are better and cheaper. I’d take a 1.6 fiesta over this anyday if mpg was my main concern. But it’s not and that’s why I’m leery of future autos.

@JCthaballa Nahh, Honda drops the civic Type R AND the S2000, to make this……waste of money…
30. March 2011 at 6:10 am
K20A?
30. March 2011 at 6:20 am
@Bulgdoom and no where near ‘the redline of 8500′. Maybe only went up to 3000rpm…
30. March 2011 at 6:21 am
Nothing compared to the bisimoto CR-Z pushing 500hp
30. March 2011 at 6:34 am
why is it that everyone complain about the engine, everything…. power isn’t always everything, driving feel and balance is what spoon is always about…. k24 swap, turbo….. it’s always about the feel….
30. March 2011 at 6:38 am
Want to make millions Honda? K24, turbo and AWD= done
30. March 2011 at 6:59 am
im a honda fan but that video sucked
30. March 2011 at 7:12 am
Meh, until Honda comes out with another rear wheel drive car like the S2000 I won’t really be interested in what they have :/
30. March 2011 at 7:47 am
That exhaust looks a little strange. With all the modding done to this car I’m surprised they didn’t cut into the rear diffuser and place the exhaust there.

@JCthaballa
Everyone is going green if you hadn’t noticed
Sucks but this is what’s happening.
30. March 2011 at 8:51 am
Honda drops the type r civic and puts its efforts into this… that’s a waste of engineering.
30. March 2011 at 9:08 am
sports car? stfu
30. March 2011 at 9:46 am
K20 swap that shit
30. March 2011 at 10:04 am
“you can just get into it and drive it” that’s really great! I never heard of a car which could do that… Furthermore, I don’t get the point of cruising at a racetrack @40 km/h in a video review. What would you test by doing that?
30. March 2011 at 10:43 am
0:38 –> Magnetic Drain Bolt, thermostat, oil filter cap… WTF is this???
30. March 2011 at 10:49 am
yawn
30. March 2011 at 11:17 am
Most boring commentary ever. Where is Jeremy Clarkson when you need him?
30. March 2011 at 11:17 am
Put a 300hp k20 in that thing seriously!!!
30. March 2011 at 11:52 am
my girlfriend can drive thru the corner faster than this guy
30. March 2011 at 12:38 pm
looks like a honda prius
30. March 2011 at 1:20 pm
driver could do better -_-
30. March 2011 at 1:39 pm
@niurou No my friend. Honda announced, that the production of the Type-R will be terminated, due to EURO-5 emmision ristriction. The same about Ford Focus RS… But also Honda said something, that the new engine will be turbocharged, bringing Honda N/A engines to their end…
30. March 2011 at 2:23 pm
Keiichi should do a review on this car.
